Light weight is important, so is ease of maintenance, multi caliber use(556, 9mm, maybe 308) but that’s not a priority.

Is cost somethhing that matters very much? Is absolute sound performance an important criteria? Is backpressure a key consideration? Does actual size matter (independent of you want it light) and do you have some preferred method of mounting this to the gun?

A .30 caliber can is going to be good for .308 and 5.56, but if you want to get a can that’s also good for 9mm, then performance for .300/.308/5.56 is going to suffer a bit. For maintenance, most rifle caliber cans are sealed cans and not user serviceable, if that’s really important to you. But with the newer suppressor cleaners, soaking cans to clean them isn’t as much of an issue as it used to be. For light weight, you’ll probably want titanium. For mount options, I’d chose a HUB threaded can and then go with whatever adapter you want.

Right now, I’d take a hard look at the Sig Hexium 762. It’s light and has gotten some good reviews on Silencer Analytics. Light at 11oz, relatively short at just over 6”, low backpressure, under $900 at Silencer Shop, and HUB compatible. Sig also makes a Hexium 300, but it’s almost 9” long, which is probably a bit too much for a short PDW.

if you want 9mm then its into the .36cal do it all cans. Which as Dwill104 says are all purpose but master of none. I would normally just recommend the B&T from personal experience, but the situation at B&T is looking somewhat problematic. As an alternative you might look at the flow36 if 9mm is an actual requirement. If its not then I think Dwill104 has an excellent suggestion.

I have a hybrid Shaw Armament Jeckyll & Hyde 9mm/5.56 that is rated up to .338.

It's a 10" titanium/steel can that absolutely cuts the blast down to pleasant levels. It's much lighter than my CMMG steel suppressors by a longshot and completely servicable. BUt it cost twice what the CMMG suppressors did.

It sounds like an unsuppressed 22 with supersonic 5.56. If you're dead up close to the berm, it just makes a heavy FOOP!

I have it on a Dead Air Xeno mount so my flash hider looks like a military type.

I won’t say cost is no object but I am willing to go up and to $1500 but I would prefer to stay around 1000. I really want it more for 300 blackout and 556. I’ve plan on getting a second pistol suppressor eventually as I’ve done some reading over the last couple of days I want low back blast as well. I realize there’s no unicorn that you get everything you want. Thanks for the input so far guys. I was looking at a dead air Mojave nine but I am open to anything.

I assume you mean the Mojave 9 as your pistol suppressor, its not rated for 5.56. As a 9mm can its terriffic. My favorite among perhaps 15 others for 9mm that I have. More details if you want on that.
As for the .300 and 5.56 you don't say much about the 5.56 side, short barrel or not? In any case I would think you want a shorter suppressor for the DD or at least a modular one. Light weight is going to mean Titanium and hard use is going to lead one to inconel or others. Or as is done by B&T a combination. I really like the B&T XH and absent the mess at B&T would suggest it, but not possible. You can look at the Thuderbeast sound summit tests to see a lot of data about a lot of suppressors (https://thunderbeastarms.com/sound/summit2025/). One thing that shows is the .30 cal cans running 5.56 are louder by a lot than dedicated 5.56 cans. And take a look at Pew Sceince they have lots of .300BO test. From looking at those I would look into the OtterCreek Hydrogen as one option that might fit what you are thinking. Anyway there are a zillion options. But and it took me awhile to learn this, its best to just figure out what works best on the gun you are trying to suppress and just accept that another gun will be optimized by a different choice. The choices for a short barrel .300bo suppressor are way better if you don't try and stuff 5.56 or .308 or 9mm down it. All FWIW.

That’s where I am leaning just on can for .300BO the .556 are 16” barrels. Leaning towards the Hexium or SA J/H also the Banish 30V2 popped up on my radar

Ordered a Sig Hexium 7.62, yesterday, looking hard at my next on several months down the road a DA Lazarus 6.

Dead Air Wolfman. It's airgun quiet on my Ruger bolt action 300blk.

I liked it so well, I bought a second one to run as a dedicated 3-lug on my SP5k.

It also works very well on my 5.56 AR-15's.

I enjoyed my wolfmans for a long time but it has been passed by. Especially since the OP said light weight was a goal. A majove 9 is literally half the weight of the wolfman. If you don't need the can to also support 5.56 the mojave is a way better option.

Did you get your Hexium and try it out on your DD? How did it go?

This was my first suppressor quickly followed by a Huxwrx 556 flow ti. The Hexium shoots really nice doesn’t unbalance the weapon. I don’t really have anything to compare it to. Another person that was shooting it who has a lot more experience with suppressors was pretty impressed with it.

How was the gas? I picked up the DD upper and tried it out last week with my Hexium, and there was a lot of gas blasting out of the ejection port with every shot. Also, when reloading the mags, there was a puff of smoke every time I pushed the follower down to load another round. The DD charging handle was effective, so I didn’t get any gas to the face, but I’ve never seen that much gas coming out of the port, or coming out of the magazine.

A couple of shots I felt a little debris but I didn’t have much and it was mostly unnoticeable. I shoot left handed so I would expect it to be worse.
