What I hate the most is the 15 days between Approved and the Stamp arriving Frown

This is the part that would concern me. What is silencer shop showing for the form 3?

I see today that they have rolled the approvals date back from 5/31 to 4/14. Somehow I knew it was too good to be true.

I hate the 28 to 300 days before that more.

So apparently I've got another 3 months to wait. My check was cashed in early July.

What a bunch of horseshit. Mad

I am right there with you. My Form 4 went in the end of June, check cashed 7/6 of 2016. I'm hoping for the end of February or early March. Here's to the dream of the hearing protecion law going through.

Get used to it. My check was cashed 4/29/16 but didn't go pending till 5/16/16. As of 1/3/17 a very nice ATF examiner informed me it had just passed to the analyst and should be approved within a few days. Eek

Sweet!
One of my checks was also cashed on 4/29/16.
Hopefully soon I'll have at least the first can of 2016 in my hands. IIRC it was an Omega762, then two weeks later I bought an Omega 9k.

Did you call the ATF?

I did. I'd seen some stamps come not back with my same check cash date already. Seems like this one took longer than most to go from check cashed to processing.

Boy I gotta be close on my form 1. Submitted mine on 6/20 which was a. It closer to the ramp up at the end so I'd expect it to be just a little longer than the moth difference between yours and mine.

They've only got so many people so that kind of shit happens when you submit your paperwork in a panic situation.

During the last panic, which was right after Sandy Hook I had bought 3 suppressors ... one he had in stock, the other 2 he had to order ... it took a total of 336 days for the two he had to order ... ~2 months to get transferred to him and 9 months to get my form 4 stamps

I submitted my first two at the end of GWB's term; Obama had been elected but hadn't taken office yet ... that was 61 days on a trust but mailed in & back.

If you really want something you'll find a way ...
... if you don't you'll find an excuse.

I'm really not a "kid" anymore ... but I haven't grown up yet either Wink

Finally got my last pending can, a Spectre II.

Form 4 Trust, my local dealer had it in stock so no Form 3 delays to deal with.

Submitted: 4/25/16
Check cashed: 4/29/16
Approved: 12/28/16
Stamp received: 1/4/17

So pretty much 8 months exactly from the time the check was cashed until the time the stamp was approved.
