I just purchased a P226R ASE that I'm going to use as a suppressor host. Which would you recommend: (1) purchase a SIG OEM threaded barrel and the appropriate piston for my suppressor (2) purchase a SilencerCo threaded barrel that is already 1/2 x 28 tpi (I have a piston for that) (3) purchase some other brand???? I used 1/2 x 28 with my Beretta 81FS and 1/2 x 36 with my Tavor Sars so I'm familiar with having to swap out the piston/fixed spacer. Thanks for any info you may have.

SiCo... don't know who makes their barrels, but they are laser beam accurate!

Brownell's often has Silencerco and other 1/2x28 barrels for Sigs. Also try Bar-sto barrels, I've had them make several for me in different thread pitches for different guns. I have multiple 1/2x28 SiCo barrels and they perform flawlessly. Highly recommend them NRA Certified instructor, and Range Safety officer OpSpec Training http://opspectraining.com Grayguns - http://grayguns.com

I ended up getting SIG OEM 9mm threaded barrels for my P226s and P229s. Bought the correct piston for my suppressor and everything works great. This message has been edited. Last edited by: QB Too,
