I don’t want to buy a bunch of suppressors. I currently have two. I have a Huxwrx 556 flow and want to move it between 3 different AR’s. Or at least 2 of them. Is that a problem? Or should I just plan on buying more suppressors? " The people shall have a right to bear arms, for the defense of themselves and the State" Art 1 Sec 32 Indiana State Constitution YAT-YAS

I haven’t had any problems using suppressors on multiple hosts. As long as the muzzle device and adapter are compatible, there are no issues. If you have a Huxwrx Flow 556, you just need to have a Huxwrx FH or muzzle brake on any host you want to use the can on.

I have one I move between three rifles. All have the same adapter and muzzle device. I ALWAYS check with an alignment rod when I exchange them, though. ____________________________ Eeewwww, don't touch it! Here, poke at it with this stick.

I only check them the first time I swap. If I don’t change the muzzle device or adapter, it isn’t going to change.

This. Checking the alignment each time you mount it is completely unnecessary. ______________________________________________ "If the truth shall kill them, let them die.” Endeavoring to master the subtle art of the grapefruit spoon.

I'm going to vote against that in some specific circumstances. First it takes like 10 seconds, so you will be really mad if you had an issue. Second especially on 3 lug I have seen some mounts that sometimes need another try at mounting to get centered. The worst offender is the B&T SQD but I've seen it on others like the DA 3lug. I've never had a problem on things like the surefire system I use most often and xeno if that matters in the discussion. “So in war, the way is to avoid what is strong, and strike at what is weak.”

I started out like many folks, with a budget and an idea of testing the waters, got the one can for everything an Omega .300 and a dedicated.22 can. Suppressors turned out to be as much fun as I hoped and the collection grew to a dedicated 5.56 can, and then a 9mm can. At that point I was satisfied for a bit having one dedicated can for every platform. If suppressors had been outlawed or the budget dried up, I could have been comfortable and left things alone at that level. That lasted a little while, stamps went to zero, I got the itch again. Moving a hot suppressor between rifles is certainly doable but it's a little bit of a pain, and have now ordered a 2nd 5.56 can. I expect I'll get a 2nd 9mm can that's designed more around PCC later this year. "The left can't applaud me because their hands are in other people's pockets." - Javier Milei

I have a muti caliber segmented can. You for sure must check that you haven't misaligned a baffle adapter after a swap. ____________________________ Eeewwww, don't touch it! Here, poke at it with this stick.
