?How do people here feel about Huxwrx cans. They appear to do a good job of killing sound, and they are the only cans that work on a Geissile rifle/SBR - unless you want to do a lot of work dismounting the flash guard.

I have a Hux waiting for approval. My URGI runs fine 11.5 and 14.5 with the 5.56 RC2. No hiccups to date. I’ll try to remember and post more about the Hux once it’s approved and get some range time.

I've got a Flow 556k. Great can that does exactly what it promises. The gun stays fairly clean and it is not gassy. I really dig it.

At the ear, I could not hear a significant difference between my DA Wolverine and Huxwrx 7.62QD (pre-flow and pre-flash hider end-cap) on my 7.62x39 AKs. A bit further out and I could tell the Wolverine was quieter. The real advantage was WAAAAY less blowback in my face. Absolutely worth it. The mounts are annoying since they are so heavy and ugly. If it had been offered at the same time, I prolly would have gone with Huxwrx Ventum, so I could put a Rearden HUB mount on it. I think the Ventum might have reduced performance to make it more compatible with different interfaces. I've converted my Wolverine to HUB, but my Hux 7.62QD is stuck with their heavy mounts.

I have a Flow 762. I would say its high pitched but it works well and the guns run like nothing is on them. Everything is a trade off. My Ops Inc 12th .30 is quieter/lower pitched but the mount system is limiting and its magnitudes heavier. I definitely do not regret the choice and am happy I have both cans but they serve different functions.

I have a ventum, which is a very nice can. and HUB fixes the absolutely worst part of the Huxwrx eco system which is their muzzle devices absolutely suck. You can get Geissle rifles/uppers/SBR's with other muzzle devices (surefire) and/or the option of changing the muzzle device (i.e not pinned and welded), so I would not let that drive my suppressor decision. Me personally I prefer surefire for hard use, but that's just me.

I got approval to get ten Flow 556K kits back in April but admin has not given me to go ahead to tell my vendor to get them. Mad

my local rental range destroyed a couple of Huxwrx in the beginning by not cleaning them on a regular enough basis so I would make sure I had some handle on that issue (which is not an issue I normally worry about on rifle cans)... FWIW

I read up on how to clean them so we will. We don't shoot rifle much so I doubt it will get that bad. I will clean them once a year I guess whenever I change the aimpoint batteries.

I just got the go ahead today to order 9. They didn't see why I wanted ten when we only have eight patrol rifles. I had to remind them of the SRO and a spare so I got told no spare even though we're getting them at cost.

Christmas came early. Took about 2.5 weeks from order to receiving.

Sweet, the Flows seem to work really well at getting decent suppressed performance without affecting the operation at all. Makes a lot of sense when adding to already working guns.
