I've had this pistol since its initial release and it has lived with the threaded barrel adapter its entire life. I usually just leave a can attached but recently put it on a different host. I can't seem to find the thread protector that came with it or remember if it even came with one. I know I can put just about anything in the same pitch on it but wanted to ask if other folks remember did it even come with a thread protector from the factory? If so, can I find a replacement that fits the barrel circumference and doesn't look goofy like the random one I have on it right now?

Yes it does. I can’t find it on the Sig website, but found it here; https://www.sigguy.com/product...eaded-cap-3-8x24-blk I should probably clarify. The P322 comes with a barrel “nut” attached and a barrel “adapter” to allow suppressor use. You take the nut off, put the adapter on and then attach the can. That part is for the nut, and to be used after removing the adapter. If you want to leave the adapter on and get a protector for those threads, than no it didn’t come with one but any 1/2x28 protector should work What part of "...Shall not be infringed" don't you understand???

Thank you sir. That is exactly the info I needed. I didn't lose a thread protecter .... it just didn't come with one to put on the adapter once it is in place to host the can. Much appreciated.
