It looks cool. Interesting now it helps the Can cool off instead of retain the heat like other covers. Not sure I’ll be a buyer though, that thing weighs over half a pound.

It doesn't help cool the can off actively, it just allows airflow so it doesn't insulate the can as well.

It's an interesting concept, I'd like to see one up close. One of the problems I've had with silicone based covers is that when they get hot, they tend to slide around. I'm like to see who the Magpul design stays tight on the can given that it's standing off the body and therefore has less surface area contact with the can body.

I've wondered by Can companies like Silencerco don't make cans that are specifically designed to accommodate jackets. Yes, it'll probably look ugly like rails on pistols, but look for a modern production "combat" pistol that doesn't have a rail nowadays.

These are the best suppressor covers I’ve come across.

If it weighs 10 oz it’s too heavy

That’s a huge weight penalty to add to the muzzle on top of a can.

Yeah, suppressor covers can add weight if you have one that truely protects from heat and not just mirage.

Like everything, it’s all trade offs. I like the proven Rifles Only HAD.
