How does one carry a suppressed P226? Chest pack/sling bag or ? What part of "...Shall not be infringed" don't you understand???

In all seriousness, I don't. I also don't carry a can around in public on me, but I'm starting to think it wouldn't be the worst thing if I can get the "carry it concealed" part figured out. The 19X I've posted pics of in other threads with the Shiv on it, I will sometimes throw in the center console of my truck for longer trips or if I know I'm not going to have to leave an NFA item unattended in the vehicle. Otherwise, yeah, I don't. If I can get a threaded barrel for my 43X and get it to cycle reliably, I might try it with a Shiv just to say I can, but otherwise? Nope, too much to deal with. I think realistically, once you get that R9 mounted on that 226, you're going to immediately abandon the idea of it. It's just way too much gun to try to carry on you, unfortunately. If this question is inspired by the Twin Falls thing, I'm inclined to believe he had that suppressed FiveSeven in his vehicle. I can't think of a way I'd carry my suppressed M&P 5.7 with a light on it that even remotely makes sense, and I'm a lot bigger guy than he is, if the video of him with a slung FS2000 is anything to go by. ______________________________________________ "If the truth shall kill them, let them die.” Endeavoring to master the subtle art of the grapefruit spoon.

I'm with P220Smudge, you dont at least in the sense that I would use the word carry. I can run mine suppressed in my race gun holster as it mates to the trigger guard and length really doesn't matter, but not a chance on the planet I would use the word carry for that. There are probably some molle chest rigs that you could make work by modifying the bottom of the holster so that's something you could explore but I can't imagine the work to get one out and operational. That modification actually would work with many of my belt mounted kydex holsters as they key on the trigger guard area and you could simply cut off the bottom of the holster and stuff it in there. My ruger .22 belt holster actually works fine doing that but its more of a storage idea than something you might use the word carry about. But this is all silly. If I had to carry it assembled I would use some sort of a pack with molle and have it inserted vertically. But at that point you might as well have an SBR which is my real world situation. But really why? I'd carry the gun normally and the suppressor seperate and if the circumstances needed suppressed just draw it and shoot suppressed. If you need it in a hurry the suppressed part is going to be fully optional. “So in war, the way is to avoid what is strong, and strike at what is weak.”

My carry is generally my P365, and yes the question was inspired (in part) by the ID incident. Totally new to the can thing, never even gave it much thought or interest until a couple months ago when I realized I may never escape WA. according to the published reports (accuraccy unknown) his suppressed 5.7 came out of a shoulder holster. I can see the how that might be possible but its definately not something I'm doing. “So in war, the way is to avoid what is strong, and strike at what is weak.”

Had to have been some sort of chest rig or custom setup. That’s a little dude. He makes an FS2000 look like he’s carrying a kayak around. ______________________________________________ "If the truth shall kill them, let them die.” Endeavoring to master the subtle art of the grapefruit spoon.
