I have recently found several YouTube channels with lots of good silencer information. If you have other favorites, post yours.

I mostly watch Silencer Analytics, but it’s getting harder to keep up with. It’s a new video every couple of days, and usually a new suppressor dethroning what was the best one just two weeks before.

I'm all for the massive uptick in people mfg. these suppressors and the huge number of new choices and often really good performance. But lately SA hasn't had a company I've ever heard of for most of the testing. And for me I simply cannot find a way to commercially acquire many/most of them that might interest me. Its annoying.

GoldenWebb pushes the limits. Cool Skip to the skip 6 minute mark if you want to see the excitement. On this one the Otter Creek Labs 556k didn't really blow up. Andrew posted pictures a few days later, he ran it with a SilencerCo ASR muzzle brake thinking it would add some protection the suppressor. Well the stainless steel 3 port brake let go and sent shrapnel thru the suppressor. He had another video this week of the OCL Universe. It was a little anti-climatic as it made it past 1,000 rounds and the rifle started to have issues and they just called it quits.

Just know most microphones and camera electronics clip the sound when it gets too loud, so I don't really try to judge sound quality from YouTube videos.

That being said the 2 channels that have spent several thousand dollars on good microphones and equipment to try to get good sound are Juicey Media and NFA Review Channel.
