Drop in barrel?

Are the barrels from Sig or MGW true drop in for the P228 or SP2022? The Sig system doesn't look like it needs a lot of fiddling to fit a barrel, but I've not tried this yet.

The one I got for my P226 from Sig was a true drop in.

ITs a true you don't know. The VAST majority of them run fine or do after a few rounds. Some need some extra help. But its the best you can ask for. If you have issues on a factory barrel you can get help.

The factory threaded 226 barrel I got for my W. German did not require any fitting and works fine.
