Anyone run across this site?

https://www.lafoauto.com/colle...ns/24003-fuel-filter

Those are some pretty interesting fuel filter designs, with interesting threading.

Seriously, WTF?

Yes, and that doesn't mean "automatic transmission fluid", for anyone uncertain.

A few years back, they were sold as "solvent traps". Best to stay away from such stuff.

Wow, that is much more blatantly obvious than the oil filter adapters and soda bottle connectors.
Run away, run away!

Last year April Richmond gun show. there was a solvent trap seller. He had out thread adapters, solvent traps, filter traps, etc etc. The table across from him (opposite side of the door) was the ATF, recruitment office. 4 or 5 agents. Odly enough, khaki pants, polo-shirts, windbreakers and brown or black dress shoes. Why so specific on the clothes? Well, the solvent trap attendee changed out from a lady, who looked a lot like the hair pulled back ATF agent when I walked in sans polo and windbreaker jacket to a guy when I walked out. The guy, had an amazing hair cut, brown khakis and brown shoes. I did a double-take at both tables just to be sure.

Having looked at this site, the kits are perfectly legal. Provided they are nowhere near your guns. No holes are drilled through the cups. If you want to buy one, be sure you form 1 it, and have all of your stamps back before you do any drilling. I know that besides me, there are several other form 1 can guys on sig forum.

Now for another cautionary tale. The atf supplied the credit card info from multiple online sales websites selling these kinds of "Solvent traps,Fuel filter" kits to multiple other countries around the world back circa 2017ish

I would also be curious if their monocore design isn't stolen from somebody.
