While I can’t comment on the Micro 30 specifically, I can comment on the Rugged Mounting system. I like it, a lot. It’s essentially an updated SiCo ASR mount, which makes sense as the same guy behind the ASR is the one behind Rugged.
Never had any issues with carbon lock and the larger locking ring makes getting a good grip on it easy.
Success always occurs in private, and failure in full view.
