Question: Are any of the P228 / P229 grips "fatter" than the OEM grips? I have moderately large hands and long fingers, so slim grips do not work well for me.

Both the G-10 aluminum grips are pretty much the same as the OEM grip. If anything, they may be slightly slimmer.

EDIT: Check that V-Tail, I spoke too soon... to be sure, I pulled out some of my P228s that have the three different grips on them and the width, at the Logo, measure; Stock: 1.28", G-10: 1.38", Aluminum: 1.34". So, they are actually a little "fatter".
