I need a pick up camper. Older is better and even home built would work. A pop top pick up camper would be ideal. Skamper, SunLite, Starcraft, etc
An older Alaskan, SixPac or Caveman, or similar as well. etc.

I do not need a cab over but that would work also and more common.

I need something that two can sleep in. Don't need to stand up completely but if so that is fine. A propane cook stove would be nice. A propane heater a plus. Neither of those are absolutely necessary. A sink would also be a luxury but again not necessary.
As you can tell this is not a luxury item. It is something I can take to remote area's while towing a boat. It is mostly a place to be protected from the elements to eat and sleep.
I would like to find something around $1000 or there abouts.
No roof leaks or major projects.

Ideally would like to drop it in my Tundra crew mas with the tailgate down. I could use my older ram diesel. Tundra would be best.

I have an unfired S&W auto or an older 12' fiberglass fishing boat, trailer with a small 4 stroke motor to trade also if you have something.

Ideally would like it to be in the Western 1/3 of the country. If not maybe getting it transported out west could happen.

This is from KSL classifieds. Utah, and parts of Idaho and Wyoming are the locations most people are selling g from. They have all types of campers available. Good luck!

Btt guys.

I have upped my search lately. Missed one that would have been perfect, dang. Couple others were so, so.

Here is some updated criteria for my search. Determined a pop up pick up camper would be fit my needs best.

Sunlite, jayco, starcraft, skamper, palomino and similar.

Most are 8', but there are the 6.5' out there.
Either would work. But the 6.5 would be ideal.

I am willing to up my budget a little if need be.

Please check your craigslist plz. Email in profile. Thanks guys. I appreciate it.

Weekend bump guys. If you have any leads plz let me know. Email in profile.

The building a camper canopy is still a possibility. But if I can find a smaller conventional pickup camper that would be great.

Thanks guys.

email inbound.

We built a camper to use when we moved to Alaska in 2019 and used it again when we moved to NC in 2022. Its for sale, might be just what you want.
