I think I am anyway! Looking for a pre-Remington Guide Gun in 45-70 or a Ruger Marlin Trapper. Iirc, the original Guide Gun had a ported 18.5” barrel. Not sure if Marlin made a Trapper back in the day. Nobody local has one in stock for me to check out (I’d really like to compare the new Trapper vs the new GG), but I think I’d prefer the Trapper.
