You may have heard of a “Pedal Commander”. This is supposedly a superior version made by a different company. I used it for about two months before we traded in the 4Runner. It does not, nor does it claim to give you more horse power. What it does is change the lazy shift points in Toyota’s fly by wire throttle system. It’s a simple, reversible, plug and play part. Nothing is permanent and it works very well. This will undoubtedly fit other Toyota vehicle’s but you need to verify your application with the website.

I passed on the deal. I though it would fit my Lexus GX460 I was wrong.
