What Else Would You Add To This Mountain Loadout?
This is basically what I carry in the mountains and I am just curious to see what everyone else uses and recommends.

The Garmin might be the most valuable part of that kit.

Are we talking about a real-world scenario? If so, you must let the "10 Cs" be your guide.

I'm not sure what you have in mind, but no doubt you know that exposure can kill you PDQ. Appropriate clothing, shelter, water, fire.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your question.

Really it's up to the individual! I this is a really light loadout that I would use for day trips on hikes in the mountains.

I would have more in my pack but these are some things that always go with me regardless of what I am doing. If I am not carrying it with me anything else I could need is back in the truck, assuming I can get back to it.

I should've asked what people's essentials are but any other "Must Haves" are also welcome!

Not a derailment at all! That is the Kenai chest holster from Gunfighters INC. It is my favorite carry option when my belt is loaded or I am wearing lots of layers.
