Also Sunday ... and speaking of spear point
VICTORINOX. Only one tool and they call it ... SOLO
Makes sense in theory
"Solo" isn't a very Swiss sounding word though ... like Chocolate
But who names a knife "Chocolate" anyway? ... nobody
So there's that I guess

A brace of custom scalded Sheepdog XLs

I am really liking those knives, the more and more I look at them. I didn't realize how big they are. How well do they hold an edge?

These things after a stropping are hair poppingly sharp.
There’s been discussion & charts on bladeforums comparing 154cm to S30v.
Stating that 154cm is close but just shy of S30v in edge retention.
I keep everything stropped after a days carry (if it’s been used) so I honestly don’t notice it much.
I just ordered a custom set of contoured g10 scales & a lanyard backspacer from Tony dnt3 on Instagram.
He’s in the Czech Republic and is going to be making them this week.
I’ll post up pics when they arrive.
Looks like I’ll be buying a 3rd Sheepdog XL Razz

Do a quick google search of 154cm versus S30v and you can go from there.

I would just like to thank Mr eTripper for posting pics of his Off Grid knives. I ordered a Rapid Fire coyote because of his pictures and just received it. A very solid knife for a reasonable price. I’m a ZT guy usually and daily carry a 350ts and 770. While the Off Grid is a large blade, it fills a void I’ve been looking for in a bug out bag. Very solid blade and I’m quite happy with it. Thanks again Mr eTripper!
P.S.. Grumpy has me contemplating which Sheep Dog to order... damn you guys and your great pictures!!

Thanks for the acknowledgement, Oak! I appreciate it. Your right, its very hard to beat the Off Grid Rapid Fire models, for under $85 bucks. The Cold Steel AD-10 made-the-cut for today's lift along with my Helm watch.

For today it’s the ZT 0560.
Just love this knife. Wish they hadn’t discontinued it.

It's very late or very early.
I never know for sure. Not good with time I guess.

Anyway, this Buck 110 Red Bone Damascus is keeping me company.

Damascus gives the 110 a different sound on lockup from a regular production 420HC 110.

How can I describe it?

Damascus: Twing ... Regular production: Ding
Yep, Twing and Ding ... but say it with a deep resonating voice.
