^^^ the $3.6k that they're asking for the used one is right along the border of where I would just make the damn thing myself.

You could probably spec out every single individual piece to be manufactured to ridiculous tolerances, source every screw, bolt, pin and pivot from the very best manufacturers available, and pay for the most high end laboratory differential heat treatment for that kind of money.
