My hypocrisy goes only so far |

I swear I had something for this |
It's not quite Guardian Tactical smooth, but it is a little lighter and snaps the blade out with authority. However, my 83 year old grandma still needs two arthritic thumbs to open, so it's not light enough to go off in your pants or a 10 year old can have Jedi Lightsaber fights with it while you're away. The other great thing about the Scarab 2 button is it's also wider than my old Ultratech so you get a much better grip while the checkering spreads out further on your thumb. The Kershaw Livewire also has a similar dual spring setup that feels as nice, but I like the Microtech ergos better. However, a generous amount of Dragon Grips invisible dots will improve the feel of any OTF and makes sure it won't slip out of your hand.

I have the Hogue HK Incursion otf but not the blade you want. I bought it a few years ago, as I always wanted one and it was a Christmas present for myself. The Kershaw LiveWire, like others have said, is also a nice knife for the money. The button release is much smoother/lighter than my Incursion, depending on how you feel about that. Of course Microtech knives seem to be the most desired knives and are quality built but will cost more but not by a lot. I would wait until it gets closer to Black Friday/Cyber Monday, as the deals are quite nice then.
