I just bought a Heretic Pariah H048-5A for a working knife when I'm on the farm. When I need a knife, I'm usually holding something and can't open a conventional folder as easily as I can push a button.

What's your opinion on the Heretic as an EDC for farm duty? Durable? Reliable?

Heretic makes a quality knife. I have a Manticore X DE that's as solid as they come. The Pariah looks to be hell-for-stout.

I have not had any side folders from Heretic, but I've loved all of the OTFs I've had from them. I started around the Manticore E series, but have grown into the Manitcore X to get extra handle length. While I think the newer Gen 3 Microtechs are a little bit better with the changes they've made, the Heretics are far better than the previous Microtechs in ergos and action.
