Yesterday the new 229 Sangre from Chaves dropped at DLT & Knife Joy sites.
Ordered my full titanium frame lock version @ 1:03pm as soon as it dropped.
4:45pm my tracking was sent with an ETA of Friday .
DLT is stupid fast getting things out the door.
I don’t have a knife with a Wharncliffe blade in my collection and as I really like Chaves knives I decided to gift myself this one! LoL

That’s a fine looking knife Grumpy, I’ll be anxious to hear you thoughts when you get it in hand. I’ve always wanted a Chavez and that sure looks like it marks all the right boxes.

I only have a few from him but I really like the simple design & signature style of his knives.

They do make a nice-looking knife.

Looks right at home Grumpy. I’ve been doing a lot of reading on them, I’m leaning towards the Liberation

I carried it for a week & I think it’ll be one of my carry knives. Wasn’t sure of the blade shape at first but I find it useful.

That's a fine collection you got there. Sweet mercy, those grinds are clean.

Looking at a Chavez Ultramar T.A.K and thinking it needs to be mine.

They are really nice knives! for the price, they seem very reasonable, clean and efficient.

I like the blade shape. Easy to sharpen as well.
