Looking For a US Made Flipper With a Glass Breaker For a Low Price Login/Join
I swear I had

I used to have a Benchmade Auto Triage knife that I seem to have lost and can't find. Here's the knife in question:

I'm looking for something less expensive that's still US made that has a serrated edge and a glass breaker. I doubt there's an automatic in my price range, but a flipper or assisted works as long as there's not gigantic shark fin that's chews a hole in my pants.

I don't have the budget right now for a $300+ knife, but any options would be appreciated.

This would be my choice.

I've been thinking of picking one up to keep in my vehicle.

That's worth checking out. Anyone hear anything good or bad with Templar Knives? They seem like a good deal, but I haven't heard much of anything, but their OTF automatic is at least assembled in the US and around $100.

I bought a couple of these earlier this year and love them. They are made in Taiwan but for under $60 that’s $40 cheaper than my normal go to Spyderco Endura.

I carried the Columbia River knife for many years. Then I switch to an assisted knife instead of the flipper.

I have been carrying the M&P Smith & Wesson for many years now. Not sure where it is made.

The Benchmade AFO II is an automatic with a glass break, serrated blade, and under $300. You may want to check it out. I got mine for about $240 IIRC.

Hogue EX-02, and you’re buying from a company that loves guns and will bend over backwards to support the customer.

The SOG SEAL XR might fill-the-bill. Its a solid-flipper with a steel pommel. Made in the USA.
