Quite a few years ago I carried an inexpensive lightweight OTF slide blade knife for work. The handle was a bright orange composite with a black locking button. It had a sheepsfoot type blade about 3" in length that held an edge very well for such a cheap knife. If I recall it was possibly a Gerber or Cold Steel brand. I have tried to find a picture of one to see if there might possibly be new old stock somewhere to no avail. Does anyone recall such a knife and if so the name or model? I also recall that the blade had a scalloped not serrated edge. The “POLICE" Their job Is To Save Your Ass, Not Kiss It The muzzle end of a .45 pretty much says "go away" in any language - Clint Smith | |||

Finally found a picture. It is a Cold Steel ER1 Rescue Knife. The picture I located has a black handle. Apparently the orange handle version is far more rare but the black is also hard to locate.
