Has anyone here installed extended thumb studs on their Benchmade 940?

The stock thumb studs are 3.5mm tall.

XXXAdrenalinXXX makes thumb studs that are 4.5mm tall in titanium. I was hoping for 5mm tall and aluminum so that they could be anodized any color.

BTW, the blade flicks open as it should, but I'd prefer more surface area. These thumb studs are very close to the scales.
