Bought this DLC PM2 as a donor knife for this project. I thought the black blade & hardware would go well & be different from what I usually prefer. Picked up a set of Sunburst milled titanium scales & matching pocket clip. Added a black titanium backspacer & put a mirrored edge on it … just because it was already apart !           U.S.M.C. Not sure yet. I saw a guy that did the "blurple" standoffs and lockbar, with more traditional color screws. I do like the one you have with all the brass. Looks awesome. ----------------- I apologize now... | |||

That looks great! Love my PM2, and I've been thinking it may be time to try some new scales. I have a Manix 2 XL I've been carrying since about 2015 and it could use a new pair of shoes as well, honestly. I'd been looking at Flytanium's offerings, but that's a quality repro of Spyderco's fluted titanium sprint runs. I hemmed and hawed too much over the price on every fluted titanium Military I've had a shot at and now they're going for two or three times what they were. This would get me there for a lot less, and I wouldn't be beating on a rare sprint run. * Edit - Searched his whole store and I can not find those. ______________________________________________ Endeavoring to master the subtle art of the grapefruit spoon. | |||
