I need help identifying this knife: https://pasteboard.co/9JOMXCvwAoIu.jpg https://pasteboard.co/VA6rcwpqvPuZ.jpg The blade length is 7.25 inches, the weight is 14.1 oz, and it is marked as follows: "M (with circle around this first letter) Magnum, Pohl Design, 440 Stainless Steel" There is no makers name. Other than the above there is no other markings, not even "Made in whatnot" I bought this guy a LONG time ago, and I don't remember where. My guess is it's a no-name knife, not a high quality since it's marked "440 Stainless", vice "440C" or something like that, so it may just be plain old 440A. I first thought it might be a Boker brand "Magnum" series knife, which I think are more "Bowie" type patterns, but those knives at least have a "Boker" watermark on the blade steel, but this guy doesn't have that. So do you guys have any clue about this guys origin ? In my recent project to thin the herd, this is one knife I will be clearing out, if I can first identify it. Any knowledge or general ideas of its origin are appreciated. Lover of the US Constitution Wile E. Coyote School of DIY Disaster | ||

Thanks braillediver, that was helpful. I emailed those guys with the pictures, and here is what their Director of Consignment said about the knife: "This knife is by Boker and is their discount brand basically. I’m not sure this is a knife that is worth enough to list with us." So, I'm just gonna post this knife in the Sigforum Classifieds and see if anyone wants to buy it for cheap.
