Received this beauty today.

It has the rosewood hilt, and is sharp.

11 inch blade.

resting on a MK18 clone (10.5 inch barrel SBR wearing a YHM 5.56 quick disconnect can).

I got this on Amazon, made by GK&Co Kukri House.
https://kukris.com/

the weight of the blade by itself (no sheath or mini knives that are in the sheath) is 1.8 pounds.

I got this by weighing me holding the knife and then subtracting my weight without the knife.

The packaging had the Nepalese newspaper Smile

I am just helping you with you GAS... Gear Acquisition Syndrome... as all of you have helped me over the years.

Be thankful I am not posting photos of fountain pens (damned things can get super spendy).

I have a Mont Blanc pen that is not too expensive but a friend of mine has the Dragon fountain pen. It is spendy!

Very nice.

I am taking mine in to a leather worker to make a top loaded horizontal sheath that hangs by a strap blade spine up.

"am just helping you with you GAS... Gear Acquisition Syndrome... as all of you have helped me over the years."

Thanks a lot! I just bought one very similar to your Kukri, and recently replaced the Cold Steel Kukri I had that somehow "disappeared" from my garage when I had some workmen here.

The lost one was nearly 20 years old and a wonderful tool. The new one is pretty similar, but the sheath is really junk.

My new one is currently on vacation in Texas where it, along with an Ox Forge Knife, will get a new Kydex sheath.

I will be taking mine to a leathersmith to have a top loaded horizontal sheath made that will hang from a sporran chain, but also will have a ring to add a dangler to hang vertically off the belt.
