It has been ages since I have posted in Essential Edge. My day job and other factors have left little time for the knife shop. The stupid virus has put a hold on my weekly travels and has allowed me some time to work up a few project that I want to share.

I also wanted to give a shout out to fellow knife maker Sybo and Dozer for outstanding work that they have been doing!! I check in from time to time to see their great work! As always let me know what you think.

Please forgive me if I seem too critical here, It's just my personal opinion:

I like some of the blade shapes but all the handles, especially the 2nd one look way too blocky to me. Kinda like the edges were rounded off with sandpaper instead of really contoured to fit your hand. I prefer a much more rounded and countered blade guard and scales............dj

Remember, this is all supposed to be for fun...................

That’s some beautiful work.
Really like the clip point and drop point on the 1st two.

Thanks for sharing.

Yes that is a Loveless chute knife design. This one is a gift for a friend. The design is amazing and they are very difficult to make. The guard slides on from the front instead of the back like most knives which makes fabrication a bit tricky.

dj, yup many have used the term blocky to describe some of my knife handles. Sometimes I am rain man like obsessed with the blade and the handle ends up blocky!! Work in progress.

I bought a Holt’s point fillet knife from you a few years back. I have used it on several hundred catfish. It is holding up wonderfully and still my favorite fillet knife.
