I've been going back and forth on buying this knife for probably 10 years or more. The hang up for me was that the handle tapers slightly to the rear. I just couldn't wrap my head around that being a good idea. Well, a few weeks back I finally pulled the trigger and have been able to spend some woods time with it. Turns out it is, by far, the most comfortable knife to use that I own. Wood processing, meal prep, even a few figure four traps, very comfortable, zero hot spots, just an all-around great blade that did everything I needed it to. Wish I bought it 10 years ago (it was only $125 then). The only negative I found was since it tapers to the rear, pulling it from a tight sheath was challenging. A short lanyard fixed that.

Nice knife! The 4”+ size is my favorite, once you hit a 5” blade a knife starts feeling too large, imo. The handle looks really comfortable while staying safe.

Sweet Knife! With knives it seems to me that more often than not simpler looking knives are actually more refined and more useful overall.

To me this knife looks like they've taken off everything not useful and kept all good things!

Remember, this is all supposed to be for fun...................

I like the shape of it, but the blade is a bit too thick for me.

It is long past time for a Convention of States. The Founding Fathers gave us this tool to fix an out of control government and we need to use it.

I think the choice of blade geometry comes down to intended use. If this was a dedicated kitchen knife, then yep, it's about 3mm too thick. But since this knife is more likely to be splitting firewood than slicing a tomato, it's where it needs to be. That's not to say it can't slice a tomato. It can, it's just not that good at it.
