He posted once about two weeks ago, the first time since Aug. 3.

I sent an e-mail awhile back to inquire and have no reply.

I hope he is alright and it was nothing I said!

Anyone know?

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

Yeah, his posts in the last couple of months are few and far between. Life might be just getting in the way. Hopefully the man can escape CA soon...

I thought I saw something this week....trying to remember what. I believe it had to do with some recent California legislation?

EDIT - Well, shoot, this must have been what I saw:

I believe he mentioned that he and his wife would be serving a church mission in Alabama beginning in August. If true, we won’t be hearing from him for a year or two.

Bingo!

I either missed it or forgot it, don’t remember which.

At least he wasn’t kidnapped and sold into slavery in China or something.

Generally they ask missionaries to stay of social media except for “business” related content.

Ohh, Alabama has believers, and I should know, since I spent 3+ years in Auburn, AL (the Loveliest Village on the Plains!!)...
But, the believers may not be what some consider "mainstream believers"........ Wink Eek

Since the term “missionary” was used, I imagine they are trying to turn believers who are “their guys” into “our guys.”

Ooooh, hopefully those missionaries aren’t the well dressed people on the street corners yelling while waving a book around in their hands.

Doesn’t seem like an effective strategy.
