I believe in the principle of Due Process |
He posted once about two weeks ago, the first time since Aug. 3. I sent an e-mail awhile back to inquire and have no reply. I hope he is alright and it was nothing I said! Anyone know? Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me. When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Yeah, his posts in the last couple of months are few and far between. Life might be just getting in the way. Hopefully the man can escape CA soon... Mired in the Fog of Lucidity |
I thought I saw something this week....trying to remember what. I believe it had to do with some recent California legislation? EDIT - Well, shoot, this must have been what I saw: https://sigforum.com/eve/forums...0601935/m/7890052834 My memory often fails me. I hope he's well!

I believe he mentioned that he and his wife would be serving a church mission in Alabama beginning in August. If true, we won’t be hearing from him for a year or two. P229

Bingo! I either missed it or forgot it, don’t remember which. https://sigforum.com/eve/forums...370014244#7370014244 At least he wasn’t kidnapped and sold into slavery in China or something. ^^^^^^^^ Generally they ask missionaries to stay of social media except for “business” related content. __________________________

Serenity now! |
I was wondering the same thing just the other day. I'm glad you asked! Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice - pull down your pants and slide on the ice. ʘ ͜ʖ ʘ

Oh stewardess, I speak jive. |
Alabama is short on believers and needs to import them? Who knew.

It's not easy being me |
Ohh, Alabama has believers, and I should know, since I spent 3+ years in Auburn, AL (the Loveliest Village on the Plains!!)... But, the believers may not be what some consider "mainstream believers"........ _______________________________________ Flammable, Inflammable, or Nonflammable....... Since the term “missionary” was used, I imagine they are trying to turn believers who are “their guys” into “our guys.” Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me. Ooooh, hopefully those missionaries aren’t the well dressed people on the street corners yelling while waving a book around in their hands. Doesn’t seem like an effective strategy.
