I was at the range today and my buddy had the best line:

Sometimes when I load magazines and watch movies a round slips between the couch cushions. That way if I need a spare I can reach in and grab one, kind of like with spare change.

I call it the "suburban reload."

Seems like it should be a part of any rigorous training program. (Depending on how much fighting from the couch you anticipate.)
