Just got back from a 10 day remodel trip to our Kansas City rental property. (The wife and I worked our asses off on this trip) I've said this before on this forum but every damn time I go to KC I am so impressed with how nice people are. All we did was hit restaurants, Home Depot, and Ace Hardware. Well a few grocery store too for snacks and sodas (pop ) We were always treated very well by all employees and store patrons. You know, the "you've only got one item go ahead of me" sort of thing. It was common. There seems to be an entire generation that was raised right. I love visiting that city.
Actually I would give the same compliments to all residents of MO. I've never had a bad experience visiting any area of that state (and we do often), east, west, north, and south. Not sure what nice, helpful, and courteous drugs you folk take but keep it up.
I grew up in a small town about 40 miles east of KC, and lived there until I graduated from college. I generally agree with your comments about MO folks.
In addition: for many years thereafter I’d return tor Christmas. And I have to say that when I went to the KC malls for Christmas shopping I was impressed by the young ladies – so many foxes!
Don’t argue with fools.
