Interesting to see who is behind a LOT of the anti-Trump craziness and how much money they have to play with.

These two charitable foundations, Kellogg and Ford. I wonder what their founders would have to say about their current activities. "Clean living" Kellogg might be ok with things. What is the current relationship between the Ford Foundation and Ford Motor Company?

The JPB is the largest donor at $21 million. Their home page says, "The Foundation does not fund attempts to influence legislation or other types of advocacy..." I wonder how they balance that statement with their donation activities.

re Kellogg's

http://www.breitbart.com/big-g...outside-for-new-one/

Kellogg’s CEO John Bryant has stepped down from his post as sales continue to stagnate for the cereal giant

Since January of this year, Kellogg’s launched a campaign dubbed “Special K,” meant to reorganize its distribution system necessitating the elimination of over one thousand jobs across the country. The program also affected the jobs of thousands of contractors.

Along with the company’s headquarters in Battle Creek, Michigan, some of the states hit by the cuts are North Carolina, where almost 500 were fired; nearly 300 were fired in facilities in New York, 219 workers were cut in Minnesota, and 500 were laid off in Pennsylvania.

Despite its near decade of struggling to stay profitable, during most of which Bryant was CEO, the company claimed Bryant resigned for “personal reasons.”

With breakfast foods on the decline, especially the company’s staple cereal products, Kellogg’s has been struggling to keep its profit margin. In 2000 the company’s product line was 70 percent cereal products and only 20 percent snack foods, but due to changing tastes, that now stands at only 40 percent for cereals and over half for snack foods.

These donations appear to be from 2015, a year before the election.

Let's see 2016 and 2017.

A Feb 2017 article about Kellogg's and Breitbart

http://www.breitbart.com/big-g...boycott-coincidence/

Kellogg’s CEO John Bryant says the company’s plummeting stock and reported $53 million loss in the fourth quarter are unrelated to the company’s politically driven decision last year to pull ads from Breitbart News, which spurred a boycott campaign and intense online backlash.
According to the Associated Press, Bryant says that “the company did not see any effect it could attribute to the boycott.”

Last November, Kellogg’s pulled its ads from Breitbart News, caving to the demands of left-wing pressure groups.

Kellogg’s spokesman Kris Charles said Breitbart News and its tens of millions of readers “aren’t aligned with” the cereal maker’s “values as a company .”

Its non-profit W.K. Kellogg Foundation’s ties to radical anti-American billionaire George Soros, hate group Black Lives Matter, and deceased Cuban dictator Fidel Castro have been exposed, and the Michigan-based company is set to shutter dozens of distributions centers and lay off more than 1,100 full-time employees.
