BGULLRecommendations for AirPod Replacement
Asking for a friend

,who in a two week span, managed to drop and roll over one air pod and then run the replacement and original AirPod through the washing machine. What’s out on the marketplace that may be a better item than the Apple OEM products....
Looking at replacement set either Bluetooth only or with noise canceling capability. If I go the noise canceling route, the uses would include shooting range use and woodworking machinery (with/without earmuffs) as well as general use at the gym, etc.
What do y’all use and recommend? Thanks!

Maybe rather than going 'better', your friend might consider going 'decent, but cheap enough that repetitively replacing them when broken or lost is a non-issue.'

P250UA5My cheap MPow MDots work great.
Passive 'noise cancel' with the ear cone, they block out a fair amount of outside nose.
I wore them regularly under a motorcycle helmet for music. Made the mistake of taking them out when my phone died, and was shocked how much wind noise they blocked out.
Did a good job attenuating the gas mower I used to have as well.
Supposed to be sweat resistant too, though I can't really comment on that part.
