P226RNHi gang apologies for the delay. Been feeling very weak and pretty bad since being home. But, very happy to be home. Got the best greeting ever from the pups...two hugs and a very high pitched squeal from the little one’s crate (he just had patella surgery a few weeks ago). The other two immediately surrounded me on the couch in a puppy blanket of sorts. I haven’t started to get any energy back yet. But that’s to be expected I guess. I have 2 antibiotics for ten days already have that lovely metal taste in my mouth from the one. Makes it unfun to drink water and I love water. Hope that goes away! I will start iron injections on Fri. I had my first in the hospital as I also have iron deficiency anemia now too. Not eating a bunch yet and hate the diet since it is counter to everthing I have been doing to stay healthy. But it’s temporary. Just odd eating white bread after so many months off of the stuff. Grilled cheese is kinda good though! I feel very blessed to have avoided surgery and to be home. The power of prayer is a real thing and I thank you all my friends.
If it won't matter in 5 years don't give it more than 5 minutes.

Modern Day SavageLittle late as I'm just seeing this now. Glad you are home now and getting some much needed welcoming from the dogs!
I'm like you and generally refuse pain meds in the hospital...and grilled cheese is a great treat anytime!
Prayers that you continue to heal completely and quickly! Hang tough

Absolutely! Been through a few hard times myself and am wishing you a full recovery.
It is a safe bet that the pups will have you feeling better than most anything they can dig up at the pharmacy.

am94pmI hate to hear you are going thru this. I have BTDT and had to have surgery. Thankfully you didn't have to have surgery. I'm glad you have your pups to look after you. Get better soon.
