Especially when you're traveling with three young kids including a 2 year old.

I have always kept my seatbelt on while flying , I loosen it enough to allow a little bit of movement but not enough to let me bounce off the ceiling .

The 73 year old passenger who was "killed" died of a heart attack. Would a seatbelt have prevented that?
I am not challenging the good advice to always use seatbelts, I agree with that. I am questioning the sensational reporting. Whatever happened to "just the facts?"

Of course seat belts wouldn't have helped in that case, but it adds more "spice" to the news stories! Remember, if it bleeds it leads...

Maybe yes, maybe no...One has to wonder, did he die of a heart attack while belted into his seat, or after being tossed about the plane like a ragdoll?
