Had a little Rescue Action at the Beach Recently...
It's definitely been an exciting year!

I figure I'd share this since we can all use some positivity.

Back in July, I took my son on our evening walk to the beach, and saw some people in a rip tide that needed help. (We live at the NJ shore during the summer).

Quick Background: Kids in life jackets were pulled out in a rip tide, father and Uncle went out to try and rescue them, only to get into trouble themselves and nearly drown.

I'll let my wife's facebook post do the talking, she did a decent enough job describing the situation.

Here's the whole family that drove all the way back from Jersey City, NJ....just to say thank you. (I'm the guy holding the baby, Far left and ride side are lifeguards and firemen who eventually arrived on the scene)

Here's me with the main victims and the girl who I passed off the kids to before getting the adult.

The town was nice enough to make a video of everyone involved meeting on the beach where the rescue happened. If ya want to see a touching video (and me babbling) here it is. Smile

It was great meeting them and I'm glad everything worked out!

First we have Dave Truong.

Now we have Matt.

Congratulations, and thank you.

I've been in the Jersey shore rip, and it is real.
