Modern Day Savage
Although I had plans to check a few debate comments, I mostly just wanted to scan the forum for a few minutes, see what was up. Over probably 4 or 5 hours, I repeatedly hit the Main Page, then tried the various subforums, tried a different browser, tried my phone, and then tried a different laptop, tried one last time @ 02:00 local, before finally giving up and sacking out.
I don't think many of us realize just how heavily we rely on (or, are addicted to) this place.

You're usually pretty particular about post titling, so no, joke-as-thread-title was not on the short list of guesses.

Apparently I missed something. After the Debate I watched the chat about it for a while and then changed the TV to "What on Earth" and eventually fell asleep. Was comfortable in my lounge chair so didn't want to get up to sit at the computer.
