Back, and to the left

I started getting irritated. I said, “yes, but she’s a dog, not a toddler. What am I supposed to do?”. I asked if they were thinking she got into something, but they never would answer or give any more context to their questions. They just kept making it seem as though I throwing her to the wolves. And this is in a VERY rural part of Georgia. I doubt most folks around here even visit the vet’s office.
This dog is spoiled more than most kids, but I’m bad for letting her roam a dozen+ acres. What the heck.
I will not tolerate a doctor or a vet that gets enigmatic when asked questions. Especially when asked to clarify their own questions. When leaving that vets office, I would have asked the receptionist how to go about transferring my dogs' records to whichever vet was taking over care. |

Different meds are different too. I think it was Keflex (cephalexin) that had an obnoxious smell to it and most of the dogs didn’t like. I found the whipped cream cheese in the tub easiest, just scoop out a spoonful, bury the pill in it, and drive on. One time the store was out of that so the lovely bride brought home the “brick” version. That worked too, just a little harder burying the pill in a chunk of it. |
