GrumpyBikerSaturday Morning Project
I bought this gas station sign a couple years ago .
It was $25 and was screwed to the end of my assembly table.
When I moved my anvil to that location I decided I wanted to repair the washed / faded out area but never got around to it.
This morning it seemed to be calling me.
Or maybe that was the chair in my shop.
Either way as it turned out well I’ll be looking for more with this type of damage.
As I’m not concerned about extrinsic value but rather decorative value to my garage & shop.
If you guys see signs like this , some tape, an airbrush & some time is all it takes.
I think I’ll make a frame and replace this poster with it in my garage.

David LeeNice work sir. I see all manner of cool metal signs every weekend at the Flea Market. Old Gent I work with sold a Harley Davidson Motorcycles sign Saturday which had a glass thermometer down the center for 7 bucks. Every now and then I see like new rail road crossing lights and signs too.
