That's why I drive a Mini-van. Nobody wants to steal them. Cops don't want to pull them over, because... "minivan". Who makes trouble in a Minivan?

Strange that Excursion didn't make the list.

Thieves probably couldn't afford the gas.

This thread does have me wondering if I could get an Excursion converted to a manual transmission. Wouldn't that be cool?

I wish my car had a manual transmission option. It doesn't.

You can't truly call yourself "peaceful" unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of great violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless.

I’d like to see how many pickup tailgates are stolen right off the truck, nothing else taken, not even the truck.

Well sure. Everyone knows you need a tailgate to throw a good party.

I own a 1998 GMC Sonoma 4 cyl 4 speed, a 1999 Isuzu Trooper and a 2008 Ford Explorer. I didn't look at the list but I know for sure none of those are on it and they probably never were.

I wish someone would steal the Explorer. That POS is constantly sitting on my garage with its hood up. this time it is the water pump which I am only in a hurry to replace so that I can get it to the shop to have the tranny rebuilt. Just over 100k and this has already been more trouble than the 98 and 99 combined.

I have a very nice condition 95 F150 shortbed in the driveway. I should start parking my Nissan Rogue company car behind it. That way if they steal my truck, they will most likely get my company car too and I'll get a new one!

Not on the list but a funny, short story about stealing vehicles.
Owned a 1976 International Scout years ago. Basically a hunting truck. I would leave the keys in it at shopping malls with a sign in the window that said, "Please take me". No one ever did. Frown

Even the Toyota Tacoma is no longer available with a manual transmission!

It's almost impossible to buy a manual in anything other than a "sports car" or "muscle" car! And that's a shame!
