I did try and went back to Android. The biggest issue for me was the lack of the "back" button on iPhone.

PowerSurge^^^^On iPhone you don’t need a button, you swipe.

ridgeratYour daughter sounds intelligent, and an experienced iPhone user. She can surely help you if you need it. Or any teenager!

FredwardI finally decided Android tech required more effort than I was willing to give, is I went iPhone. A week later I switched my computers all over to Apple. I no longer have the time or patience to deal with it, so I got equipment my feeble mind could operate.

TXJIMI have been on Android since the s4, moved to s6 and now have an s9. I have been carrying an iPhone 8 for work alongside the s9 since February. I hate everything about how the iPhone works, nothing about it is intuitive to me.

I started out with Android and IOS is easier to operate to me. Most people that I know that have used both will tell you the same thing.
And don’t get me started on how Google tracks you. You should be paid by Google every month for using their OS.

armedprofI made the switch from Samsung to iPhone in Feb 2019. It was a lot easier than I expected. They are a lot alike.

just1tymI switched years back and if there is one thing I would change is wait before doing IOS updates, follow the reviews. I recently updated prematurely to the iOS 13 and had to work thru some issues and had to hard reset it a few times.
It doesn't take away anything from using Apple products over the years and otherwise completely satisfied.
