I’m a big fan of national forests. Island Park is a great area with easy access to Yellowstone but not as crowded when you want away from the crowds there. I highly recommend Taiwan! Tropical island, some of the most friendly people you'll ever meet. The best food you'll ever eat. I'm happy to provide locations to visit and things to do. Big Island Hawaii is a perfect example. Airfare reasonable since you can fly Southwest, gorgeous island, low key and friendly, more to see than you can manage in two weeks. My favorite experiences: up close encounter with manta rays. Gorgeous, gigantic animals. Primrose blooming at sunset... as if it wasn't breathtaking already, you get a floral aroma to accompany. The mountains, the volcanoes, the beaches, the water....

I would really much like to duplicate a trip we did as a kid Yellowstone, stay there for at least a week and see all there is to see, side trips to Mt. Rushmore and Grand Tetons

Well, since I am not seeing kids in the formula... Pattaya Beach, Thailand. Everything is inexpensive (you can get some very good tailor made shirts/pants/dresses/etc) from room, to food, to drink, to entertainment (to include guided tours (bus, boat, etc) and hiking). Bangkok is a day trip away or close enough for a few nights. (Hint - If a carrier group pulls in when you are there, head to Bangkok.) For more modern, Singapore is a short hop away too. Also consider Vietnam. Never been there but knew a few guys and gals from the company I retired from who swore by it for cost, friendliness, and the sites. Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. I'd like to enter, please. Here's my vacation idea: Greensboro, NC. Would serve as a great central location, base camp of sorts, to see the rest of NC. Lodging is affordable, lots of food options (Hop's Burger Bar is absolutely amazing), entertainment options such as music, shows, etc. There's outdoor hiking trails, the mountains of NC aren't too far west. Atlantic beaches are a couple hours east. The airport is easy to navigate and TSA gets you through pretty quick. _____________

Please don't include me in the Karma, the promaster line is way to big for me. but I'm going to recommend Playa Grande, Costa Rica, I spent 10 days there last spring for a wedding, it was truly fantastic. one of the nicest beaches anywhere, no crowds, It does pay to have some Spanish skills, we had a Verbo with a kitchen and shopped in the local grocery stores, (megasuper was the best one) It's definitely for the more adventurous, Tamarindo nearby is a lot more civilized but Playa Grande reminds me of my childhood. _____________________________________________ Proverbs 3:31 "Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways."

One of our favorite trips was to HI. Swimming, scuba, Pearl Harbor and the rest of the time was enjoying Maui. Thanks for the chance! -------- After the game, the King and the pawn go into the same box.

If you want to escape people and get jiggly with nature like I do - - The BWCA Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCA) in Northern Minnesota / Quetico Wilderness in Canada. Outfitters can supply you with everything you need. Sleep under the stars while listening to wolves, watching moose wading through the river lilies, amazing fishing and long nights staring into the campfire. I long to go back to the Bob Marshall Wilderness in Montana, a couple ranges west of the Flathead Valley. We’d go on Horseback for a week or so (many hike it) and would see the blue-est lakes, crystal clear streams, amazing panoramic views, towering peaks and when you see the great Chinese Wall you feel like you’ve truly entered the house of the lord. If this is a search for inspiration on where to go I’m anxious to see wher you end up! I am not BIPOLAR. I don't even like bears.
