My Son is a Memphis Police Officer and patrols some of the worst parts of the City. He lost count of the number of shootings he's worked. A lot of good people are trapped in bad neighborhoods and fed up with the violence.

Once an E-Trace is done, at least 4 more will be stolen but owner couldn't or didn't bother to locate a serial number for the report.

When passing through Memphis on my way here, I was glad to have had a full gas tank and empty bladder so I didn't have to stop in the middle of it (and neighboring West Memphis, AR).

I may know him then. I've been here since '93 and working in LE since 98. Memphis hasn't gotten any better in that time period...
As to the three arrested, from the story I read on local media 4 of the guns were "prohibited weapons." That's TN legal speak for NFA items.
