I think I stayed at the Raddison Country Inn several years ago for a OpSpec class but I don’t recall the area.

Someplace in a decent area and closer/easier to get to Rio Salado Sportsman Club if possible.

Oh, my stomping grounds. You doing a match at Rio?

I’d look at the hotels on Power Rd in Gilbert just south of the 202. That’s a pretty quiet area, and you’re not a long drive from Rio if you take 202. That Radisson is on Power and 60 north of the area I’m talking about. The traffic on 202 is usually easier to deal with than 60.

I would definitely stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott Phoenix Mesa East. It's the closest, nicest hotel, by a wide margin, and has a lot of great food options very close by. I have held some meetings there, and when I was training a new coworker, thats where she stayed and said the acomodations were very nice. It's maybe 10 in from the range.

This one

I live 5 min from there so if there is anyhting I can help with further, please feel free to reach out, email is in my profile.

This is one of my favorite things about this forum. No matter how obscure a question someone here might ask, there's always at least 1 person that has intimate knowledge about whatever the subject is.

For seven years Melanie and buck stayed at air b&B's in Mesa.
Five different places. They stayed for 3-4 weeks each time.
She got to be a real pro at booking b&B's.
They were over 60 y.o. and very picky.

Had to be in a specific area, couldn't be smoking allowed. Had to have own bath , couldn't have too many stairs.

Etc.etc.

Out of all of that, she only had one very poor experience and one unfavorable experience.

She still keeps in touch with two renters when the winter down there.

( They finally purchased a tiny home in a big ole trailer park with bunches of amenities. )

Yep. Happened a few years ago when I asked for a member by Camp Shelby, MS and someone was near. No matter how obscure we think the subject is or how hidden the area is, someone here has knowledge about it.
