I’ve used an AirSense 10 for almost 10 years and it is the best machine I’ve ever had.

CPAP.com has a great deal for this weekend. If you need a machine, have been holding off, don’t have insurance coverage, etc. no better price to be had on this.

Buy with confidence from CPAP.com, they are great and I’ve used them for years as well.

Not affiliated, etc - just putting the word out to my fellow Hoseheads

This link couldn't come in a more timely manner. Thank you.

I'm currently waiting to see if insurance will cover me on this. It's been over a week and I have not heard from the company that I was sent to, so I'm not optimistic.

Try the Airsense 11.... it is awesome.

And if anyone needs I have an Airsense 10 I am not using as I upgraded to the 11.

My situation is still in flux, so I can't take advantage of this deal. But, it's nice to know I may have other options.

No kidding, have you checked your fsa or hsa? Gonna check if it will clear on my fsa debit card.

Thanks for the heads up. I just got a new machine a few months ago. I got mine from cpap.com as well and you are right: They have great prices and terrific customer service.

If you have OSA it is typically covered. Insurance drags their feet with their preauthorization requirements. Give your insurance a call.

Is there any difference in the performance of the 10 vs. the 11? Other than the 11 is web/app enabled.

The 11 allows you to change ramp up time to full pressure, and it seems to be more sensitive so it changes pressures faster to give a more restful sleep. And has better connectivity so I don't have to take my SD card in to the sleep doctor.

That has been my experience.

FSA for sure if no insurance coverage. CPAP.com will need a copy of your RX, but I would expect they would honor the deal even if they have to wait a few days for the RX

The 10 also allows you to adjust ramp time, pressure and such.

Not really a lot of difference in specs, the 11 is considered a minor upgrade. Biggest difference is connectivity, cellular connection to Resmed servers and access to your provider.

Comparison info here:

I haven’t had a doc adjust my machine for years - I do it myself.

CPAP.com will give you a RX if you don't have one. You just sign up for it, give them some info and their doctor will issue it. My wife couldn't get a new RX without doing another sleep study which she didn't want to do, so we went through cpap.com, electronic RX that they keep on file. Worked flawlessly.

I don’t think so. When my wife upgraded to the 10, the hose connection was completely different than what she had before.

The description and listing is confusing; is this a fixed pressure machine (with ramp)? Or is this a true autopap that changes pressure all night depending on need?

I don't blame her. I had wires everywhere but I thought you could do the sleep study at home.

Yes

It can do either “CPAP” (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) OR “APAP” (Auto-adjusting Positive Airway Pressure) depending on how it is setup. It is NOT a BiPAP machine.

You could, but then you have to submit results and wait for the doctors approval and all kinds of other hoops to jump through. She just wanted a new machine. It was much easier to get the RX through cpap.com

I did the home study and of course was diagnosed with severe sleep problems..... which I did not realize because I'm always asleep when these problems occur.....

been on the cpap for about 3 months now.... only because my wife and doctors say I should.... the one thing I have recently noticed is I can get to sleep quicker....
