Reading an article in the Sacramento Bee about Jerry Brown and decided to comment. After assembling my thoughts, I hit 'post'. The page that returned read " you are banned". What the.....? I post there infrequently but with my usual polite conservatism. I guess that's all it takes at the Sac Bee. So much for a free exchange of ideas. Leftists cannot operate in a free environment. I have been banned by CNN, ABC, and NBC. I am very careful to never use obscenity or personal insults, so it is very clearly simply for "debunking the Liberal Narrative". There are some subfora/subreddits over at Reddit, commonly the leftist/snowflake ones, where the Mods of those communities will troll opposing subfora or run reports of those places membership lists (like those for Trump supporters and the like) and will proactively Ban these people from their forums even if said users have never even been to the Leftist ones before, just because they participate in opposing communities. Then, one day, if you happen to visit one of these Leftist ones to make a comment - you've already been banned before ever having said a word. It's such a bitch move, to put it mildly, and no small trend either, nor a new practice. | |||
