An interesting production, but I’m reminded of the teevee shows of the 1950s and ’60s that gave us impressionable boys very distorted ideas of the old west.
Lest we forget, the first skirmish of the war that occurred a little over 250 years ago involved both sides standing in more or less straight lines shooting at each other, as did many other battles. That was because the weapons of the day required linear volleys to deliver most effective fire. That tactic continued as the most common through the American Civil War II between the states. And then there are the regulars’ uniforms ….

There's a road in Brixton, SW London, named after it - Coldharbour Lane.
