My earliest real memory is moving into the "new" house when I was about 4 years old. I remember flashes of stuff before that, like playing with my cousins at our grandma's, but nothing vivid. ------------------------------------------------ "It's hard to imagine a more stupid or dangerous way of making decisions, than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong." I can remember being in the main hallway of our childhood home speaking to my brother in twinspeak. I remember my older brother opening the hood to his Sprite. Had to be around 3 or so. I remember the VW bus engine swallowing a valve on the way to Kindergarten. He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster.

My long term memory kinda sucks, so I'm tempted to answer the OP question with something smartass like "The dog waking me up this morning." I still have a couple of old memories (school and Grandma), but those are from grade-school times so I'd have been 10-ish rather than 3. My brother, who is 3 years younger than me, remembers things that I've long since forgotten. Even when he brings them up, I'm completely drawing a blank. This message has been edited. Im walking between my grandparents houses....( they lived next door to each other). I was between my parents holding their hands. One of my parents gave me a mint candy( red and white like from pizza hut) and i chocked on it.... passing out and waking up from it being knocked out by my dad The dead cannot cry out for justice; it is a duty of the living to do so for them. - Lois McMaster Bujold "Never offend people with style when you can offend them with substance." --Sam Brown
